About Us
The Animal Rescue LI is a 501(c)(3) organization in Huntington Station, NY. Our team is built on many years of animal care, Veterinary knowledge, and a fierce network of experience. Our priority is placing animals in the right home and ensuring that the family is equipped with the correct knowledge surrounding health and wellness of their new family member! We look forward to servicing the Long Island community for years to come!
We are very grateful to be temporarily hosted by a local Veterinary office, The Animal Center LI.
Our Mission
To promote, further and support selected charitable activities by promoting the welfare of animals on Long Island, NY by rescuing animals in need of food, shelter, rehabilitation, and veterinary assistance; providing quality care for animals until we can obtain loving homes; promoting the humane treatment of the animals through the education of pet owners; ensuring the welfare of the animals, providing and promoting accessible resources for individuals and the pets they have; building a community that promotes animal welfare, human compassion, and establishes relationships between humans and animals based on mutual respect.

Meet Hudson, a stunning pup who we found a loving, forever home. He came to us with a congenital defect called subaortic stenosis. His condition is VERY manageable and with proper monitoring, he will lead a long healthy life! We found him the perfect family, and their house is now full of joy! This inspiring journey showcases the impact of animal rescue and the power of second chances.
